Hummus is Arabic for Chickpeas

Chickpeas are a tasty and inexpensive source of plant protein; high in iron, zinc and potassium. The Tahini adds calcium and a rich nutty flavor.

Allergy to nuts or seeds?

Simply omit the tahini and add a bit more lemon or your favorite herb.

Freezes beautifully, so you'll aleways have it available when friends drop by.

Defrost container in warm (not hot) water. Toast bread, cut veggies and it's ready to serve.
